In John 9, while passing the man who was born blind; Jesus answered His disciples “…I (we) must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.”
Great hymns of the faith also encourage and admonish us with stirring words…”Am I a soldier of the cross? A follower of the Lamb? And shall I fear to own his cause or blush to speak his name? Must I be carried to the skies on flowery beds of ease, while others fought to win the prize and sailed thru bloody seas?” The Scriptures admonish us to not be weary in doing well ” for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not”. (Gal.6:9 ) Many of you teach children week after week. Maybe you feel stuck with no one to relieve you? I would like to encourage you to keep up this vital ministry. Don’t forget, He promises renewed strength to those who wait on Him. He is coming very soon and promises a rich reward for loving, diligent service. “Blessed are those servants whom the master finds alert and watching when He comes. Truly I say to you, he will gird himself and have them recline at table and will come and serve them!” Luke 12:37 (amplified)
