I am happy to announce the recipient of the 2015 Give-Away. A complete set of Aunties Bible Lessons is being sent to Miss Donielle who teaches a group of children in Illinois. Keep serving the LORD with passion and purity. He is coming soon and His reward is with Him “…to give every man according as his work shall be.” Revelation 22:12
God is good. To celebrate our glorious riches in Jesus I am offering another set of worksheets for all of the lessons here on Aunties Bible Lessons. These will be printed in English on white cardstock for durability. If you teach in another language , you are still eligible….I will include “white-out” with your set if needed!!!
Here is how you can qualify for consideration for this set. You must be currently teaching kids the Bible and have some genuine need for a set. If you work under the authority of a children’s director or pastor… you would need to get my materials approved prior to your request. (You should also have a way to make copies ). Write me a letter/email and include a photo if you can at email@example.com. Deadline will be August 31,2015. Tell me about your class/ministry and why you need a set. I will choose a winner and post the winning letter. God Bless, Bible Auntie

“And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.” Rev. 19:8
Some of the last words of our Savior in the New Testament are ” And, behold, I come quickly: and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” ( Rev. 22:12) You might want to review some of these rewards with your students and make this project as a reminder.
The Bible has a lot to say about rewards. Of course our best and exceeding great reward is God, Himself ! (Gen. 15:1) When contemplating eternal rewards, please keep in mind that ” …it is written (Is. 64:4) ‘Eye has not seen nor ear heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him’.” 1 Corinthians 2:9 It would be pointless to try and describe our rewards so just a couple are listed. Most importantly, rewards are for something you do! The spiritually slothful and unprepared suffer loss in eternity. ” Each one’s work will become clear…because it will be revealed by fire…if anyone’s work…endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved…” 1 Corinthians 3:13-15
Eph. 6:8 “… Whatsoever good thing any man does, the same shall he receive of the Lord.”
1Cor.3:8 “… Every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.”
The good deed can be something as simple as a cup of cold water given to a disciple of Christ as stated in Mark 9:41 or something challenging …(Luke 6:35) ” Love your enemies and do good and lend, hoping for nothing again, and your reward shall be great.”
Crowns ( Stephanos) are promised to those temparate in all things (1st Cor. 9:25), to those who love Christ’s appearing (2 Tim. 4:8), for those who endure temptation (James 1:12) and a crown of Glory mentioned in 1Peter 5:4. Lastly, we read in Revelation of rewards to the overcomer…those who prevail and get the victory. They will eat of the tree of life (2:7) receive a new name (2:17) have authority (2:26) robes of righteousness (3:5) and sit with Jesus on His throne (3:21)
We want to be like the faithful servant that is watching intently for our Lord’s return. This one is served by Jesus according to His words in Luke 12. We also want to heed the warning of Rev. 3:11….
“Behold I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.”
This project requires a certain level of dexterity and the ability to follow directions…probably suited to older pupils.
You would need to print a pattern in card stock for each and procure coffee filters to make the robe. Complete instructions with photos will be posted on my sister blog…”kids bible.wordpress.com”
Several posts from the past for you to consider as we celebrate the Messiah’s birth…the manger for Baby Jesus is a little cereal box with craft sticks glued on. The instructions for the Angels can be found in the monthly archives of November 2012. All of the other instructions can be found in the August 2011 monthly archive which happens to be very extensive…be prepared to scroll quite awhile.
